The theme of this year's Mental Health Today Wales was ‘Having a voice and being listened to’. The well attended exhibition and conference sparked lively debate and discussion amongst those working in mental health services, individuals who access mental health services, commissioners, the police and ministers. The full day programme of seminars, exhibition and networking looked to the future of mental health in light of the recent Welsh assembly elections.

We would like to thank everyone for tweeting throughout the day. The hash-tag #MHTWales16 trended at number 17 in the UK, so your active participation helped to put mental health issues at the forefront of social media.

We really hope you enjoyed the day and that you will be coming along to next year’s conference and exhibition, where we continue to address and challenge the stigma around mental health.
